Introducing Way-On

Founded in 1986 as a company of the SeeWoo Group, Way-On Foods began production in a humble factory in Alperton. With only a handful of employees and limited machinery, Way-On began producing its infamous fish balls and soon after developed its first chilli oil dipping sauce.

Over the past 2 decades, Way-On products have soared in popularity. To meet demand, Way-On have rapidly expanded their product range – a testament to their commitment to quality and taste.

Its 4 different product selections can be found in most Oriental supermarkets throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Way-On Seafood Selection, Speciality Selection, Dim Sum Selection and Condiments Selection represent over 70 different products including favourites like Sesame Prawn Toast, Won Ton Noodles and traditional Shao Mai.

Today Way-On employs some 30 people and occupies brand new 24,000 sq ft premises in Park Royal, alongside the Headquarters of the SeeWoo Group. This state of the art food production facility took 18 months to complete and boasts dedicated cooking rooms for each of its 4 product ranges together with a Research & Development suite, state of the art 'clean as you go' facilities and some 6000 sq ft of freezing and chilling equipment.

As a company of the SeeWoo Group, Way-On benefits from SeeWoo’s position as the leading supplier of Oriental food products in Europe. With over 400 employees and 6 sites the SeeWoo Group offers its customers the choice of over 7000 products. Its distribution centres, retail stores and production units in the UK and the Far East make SeeWoo the only choice for authentic oriental produce.
